PEKA PEKA is a lightly populated seaside settlement on the Kapiti Coast of New Zealand's North Island.
With a population of approximately 200, Peka Peka is located just off State Highway 1 and the North Island's main trunk railway between Waikanae and Otaki, about 60km north of Wellington.
Peka Peka is a special merge of seaside harmony and rural landscape. Some houses appear to have no neighbours, while others have award-winning designs that ascend out of the landscape.
Peka Peka is only five minutes drive from the shops of Waikanae, and in walking/biking distance to the restaurants and cafés at Waikanae Beach.
