About Peka Peka Beach Chalet B&B

Kia Ora, Welcome, Herzlich Willkommen to our Chalet B&B in Peka Peka Beach

We have a very private 3-1/2 acre ocean front property with direct access to the beach.

Our Chalet, detached from the main house, consists of a sunny two room suite with an ensuite bathroom and direct access to the beach.

We speak German and have lived and travelled overseas for an extended time.
Our beach is accessible for horses all year round, so bring your own horse or we are happy to arrange beach horse treks for you.
Coffee and tea facilities are in the room and for breakfast we offer our gourmet German or Farm Brekkie or how you want it, served in the main house or on the patio, weather permitting.
There is plenty of private and secure parking even for a camper van or a horse truck!

Only an hour from Wellington to the south and Palmerston North to the north makes this an ideal place to base yourself for your stay in the southern North Island. We have a micro-climate here at the beach which ranks among the best in NZ; often it can be sunny and warm here while windy and wet in Wellington.

There are nice restaurants and cafés in walking or biking distance, and there are numerous activities easily accessible here on the coast - in addition to the usual beach activities of swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, etc there is world class golfing, kayaking, tramping/hiking, bird watching, river tubing, horse treks, bush walks, and nature reserves to explore. The vineyards of Martinborough can be easily enjoyed in a day trip. We are happy to help you with your bookings and choice of activities in the area.
